The cherry on top is that you receive priority embarkation and disembarkation as well as priority boarding of tenders. At this time with Norwegian’s promotions you automatically received the Unlimited Beverage Package, Ultimate Dining Package, Shore Excursions and WiFi. You have access to a 24-hour butler, concierge service and private sundeck. You have some fabulous veranda accommodation as well as your own courtyard, pool, your own restaurant that has no lines and food served at your table. The cabins located here are only accessible with a special key. The Atrium offers numerous entertainment options all week long. These venues will need to be pre-booked or you may be disappointed. From the Howl at the Moon featuring the Dueling Pianos, Burn the Floor, Vocal Over Drive, and the Illusionarium. You have plenty of choice for your evening entertainment. You are at the top of the ship and it offers a fabulous view! Or you can always join your new friends at the Waterfront along with a nice cold beer. I have tried the rope course myself and it certainly isn’t for the faint of heart. From the water slides, rock climbing wall, art auction, but not to forget the rope course. The Norwegian Getaway offers plenty to do for the young and the young at heart. Certainly something that I would look to include for you. I truly believe that Norwegian’s Dining and Beverage Promotions that are offered right now offer some huge value. So if you are travelling as a family with small children and the kids only wish something small you will not have to pay the flat fee. You can order as much or as little on the menu at it suits your mood. The new option you will find are the a la carte restaurants – La Cucina, Le Bistro, Ocean Blue and Wasabi. The flat rate dining options of Moderno, Cagney’s, Illusionarium and Teppenyaki are between 25.00 and 30.00 USD per person plus gratuity. The Specialty Dinning options is where I found the biggest change since I last cruised with Norwegian. Did I find line ups for dining? There are times where you will find it busier than others but they have managed it well I think. You also have O’Sheehan’s Bar and Grill as another free choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as the Garden Café and Flamingo Grill which offers buffet style options. Taste and Savor are the 2 smaller, quieter dining options that are located on the deck below. You do need to take a look at the schedule to see when these will occur and during peak times it’s best to pre-book. The Tropicana being the largest and offers you entertainment during your meal. They are plentiful and give you choices, such as the 3 main dining rooms that are in different locations. On every ship you always have those dining options that are included in your cruise cost. Norwegian has some fabulous features that will allow you to really build your own cruise experience to best suit your individual wishes. This is such a beautiful ship! Their tag line – Feel Free is so apt in many ways. I have just returned from my cruise on board the Norwegian Getaway.
